How Much Does Junk Removal Cost in the Treasure Valley?

A straight answer, not a "call for a quote." Here's exactly what drives the price, what a typical job costs, and how professional junk removal stacks up against renting a dumpster or waiting on municipal bulk pickup.

What Actually Determines Your Price

Junk removal pricing almost always comes down to one main factor: how much space your items take up in the truck or trailer, not their weight. A single heavy-but-compact item like a washer costs about the same to remove as a single bulky-but-light item like a couch, because both take up roughly the same amount of room.

Beyond volume, a few other things can affect the final number: how accessible the items are (curbside vs. a third-floor walk-up), whether anything requires special handling or disposal (like a hot tub or major appliance), and how far the job is from our home base in Meridian.

What should never affect your price is a surprise fee after the fact. We confirm the number with you — by phone, by photo, or with a quick look on-site — before any work starts.

These are estimates, not fixed prices — your actual cost depends on the specific job. Quick pickups start at $79; a $120 minimum applies once the trailer comes out or the job involves multiple items. Pricing is subject to change; we confirm your exact total before we start.

*Quick Curbside Pickup and Single Item pricing applies only when the job fits entirely in the truck bed with no trailer needed, takes 15–20 minutes or less on site, is within our normal Treasure Valley service area, and has no stairs or unusually heavy items — otherwise our standard $120 minimum applies. Hot tubs and spas vary widely by size, material, and access — we'll always confirm an exact number before we start, usually from a couple of photos. †A full trailer load is our biggest single-trip tier. Clearing an entire basement, whole house, or storage unit is usually more than one load — we'll walk it (or review your photos) and give you an accurate multi-load price before we start.

FAQ

Pricing Questions, Answered

Do you charge by weight or by volume?

By volume — specifically, how much space your items take up in the truck or trailer. This is more predictable for you than a weight-based charge, since you can see roughly how full a truck would be before we ever show up.

Is there a minimum charge?

Our pricing starts at $79 for a quick curbside pickup (one light item, no trailer needed, 15–20 minutes or less on site). A typical single item from inside the home runs $89–$115. A $120 minimum applies once the trailer comes out or the job involves multiple items.

Can I get an accurate quote without an in-person visit?

In most cases, yes. Describe what needs to go (or better, text us a photo to (208) 391-2928) and we can usually give you a very accurate price over the phone or by text, with the exact number confirmed on pickup day.

Does the price include disposal and dump fees?

Yes. The price we quote you covers labor, hauling, and all disposal or dump fees — there's no separate line-item bill after the fact.

What if my job turns out bigger than expected?

We'll always tell you before we do any extra work or change the price. If a job looks bigger once we arrive, we'll confirm a new number with you first — you decide before anything changes.

Do you take items municipal bulk pickup won't?

Often, yes. We're not limited by the item caps or scheduled pickup windows that city bulk programs use, so we can typically take more at once and on your schedule, not the city's.
